Dickens' Christmas 🎁 Free event in the Finger Lakes

It's holiday merriment for the whole family and this year it's back to in-person enjoyment! This fun and FREE annual event takes place every weekend between Thanksgiving and Christmas in the beautiful village of Skaneateles, situated at the northernmost point of Skaneateles Lake in the Finger Lakes of New York. The full cast of characters from Charles Dickens' β€œA Christmas Carol” roam the village streets performing impromptu skits, singing carols, or posing for selfies. Even Charles Dickens and Queen Victoria make an appearance!

We love this event for so many reasons and have been a sponsor for the past few years. Everyone is invited to stroll the village streets and mingle with the cast of characters, listen to caroling and watch Scrooge bah-humbug his way through the celebration!Β  Enjoy free roasted chestnuts and warm up with eggnog and hot chocolate. Or, treat yourself and your loved ones to a cozy horse-drawn carriage ride for a very small fee. Quite simply, this will put you in the holiday spirit!

Most of the activities take place OUTDOORS and masks are worn at indoor functions or where necessary. This weekend is the finale and we hope you’ll take some time to enjoy with friends and family. It’s well worth the drive!Β
